It's not so often that I have dreams of them, but when I do, I noticed that it is always if there is something else that has captured their attention. Always just out of reach.
Yet when this same person tells me of their dreams of me, I am always warm and amiable.

There is a YouTuber that described a dream of their most beloved orator. He studied their works, their life, and their speeches. In fact, his entire channel revolves around this person's ideas.
But whenever he dreamed of this orator, they were always distracted. In this particular dream, the orator was distracted by a giant ball of light, and had little time for the YouTuber. This disappointed him, because in his heart, he was seeking some sort of recognition or validation from them. The orator handed him a simple note that just said, "Thank you," and this still left him feeling dissatisfied. Upon waking, this YouTuber described this dream to his partner. And she said, "You wanted his validation so badly... it seems like the desire for his validation was greater than the light, because you didn't even look at the light. It almost seemed like you were consumed with fulfilling your little ego and fulfilling the little desires of it." He admitted his desires fully exceeded the light.
No matter where I seem to look, it all seems to say the same thing.
When we resolve our desires internally (in our imagination), we look at the light and remember we are whole. When we look to others to resolve our desires, we suffer, ruminate, feel unfulfilled. Hell is forgetting that we are already complete. Hell is believing in the separation of you from your desires.
The dream was born from me. I play all the characters. I am not separate from it.
